Position: Block Coordinator Sathi
Project Location: Belaganj Block, Gaya District, Bihar
Role: As a Block Coordinator Sathi, you will serve as a vital bridge between the community and their rights. Your key responsibilities will include:
•Facilitating access to social security schemes, government welfare programmes, and rights-based services for migrant workers, unorganized labourers, and marginalized families.
•Promoting the elimination of child labour and bonded labour through community-based interventions.
•Supporting the identification, enrolment, and educational empowerment of out-of-school adolescent girls.
•Strengthening community leadership, awareness, and participation at the Panchayat level.
Educational Qualification
•Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate) from a recognized university.
•Proficiency in digital tools, online reporting, and documentation.
•Strong communication skills, positive attitude, leadership qualities, and commitment to social development.
Experience
•A minimum of two years of relevant experience in community development, social work, labour rights, education, women’s empowerment, or related development sectors.
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and strengthen community leadership among migrant workers at the Panchayat level.
•Conduct field surveys, collect and maintain accurate data on migrant workers and vulnerable families.
•Facilitate programmes for the empowerment of women, adolescent girls, and marginalized communities.
•Support eligible beneficiaries in accessing government schemes and social security services.
•Coordinate effectively with Panchayat representatives, government departments, community institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure successful programme implementation.
Preference
Preference will be given to qualified candidates residing in or belonging to the respective Block/local area.
Honorarium: INR 15,000 – 18,000 per month (As per organizational policies and project guidelines.)
