I. Introduction
Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI)?is a resource organization committed to improving the overall quality of life in rural and tribal regions across the Central India belt, spanning the states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Established in 2007 as an associate organization of Tata Trusts, CInI has pioneered several scalable and impactful programs across key thematic areas—Livelihoods, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH), Education, Sports, Primary Healthcare & Nutrition. Our initiatives are aligned with the?Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030?and have been recognised on national and international platforms.
CInI anchors its work in community institutions, women’s collectives, and frontline workers. In partnership with CSOs and State Governments, we leverage technology, and robust processes to deliver sustainable, scalable impact—powered by 300+ development professionals across implementation geographies.
II. Key Accountabilities
• Provide technical guidance on ecological and regenerative agriculture practices across different crops and farming systems.
• Lead pest, disease, and soil fertility monitoring systems and issue timely advisories.
• Conduct soil health assessments and recommend sustainable soil improvement measures.
• Design and supervise field demonstrations and adaptive trials on regenerative agriculture practices.
• Build capacities of farmers, CRPs, and field teams on IPM, INM, soil restoration, water-use efficiency, and climate-resilient agriculture.
• Support organic/regenerative certification processes including compliance documentation and audit facilitation.
• Coordinate with universities, research institutions, and technical agencies for innovation and knowledge partnerships.
• Contribute to Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) systems and technical reporting.
• Document field learnings, case studies, and success stories for donor and stakeholder communication.
III. Eligibility and requirements
• Education: MBA (Agri Business), B.Tech/M.Tech (Argil.Eng.) / M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Agriculture (Agronomy, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Horticulture, or related disciplines) from a recognized university.
• Experience:
• 3–5 years of field experience in sustainable, ecological, organic, or regenerative farming systems.
• Experience in regenerative agriculture systems and/or NPOP certification processes will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of:
i) Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
ii) Integrated Nutrient Management (INM)
iii) Soil health and regenerative agriculture practices
iv) Ecological pest and disease management
v) Climate-resilient farming systems
vi) Proficiency in Gujarati/Hindi and English.
Skills, Competencies and Experience:
• Strong technical expertise in at least one core agriculture discipline with interdisciplinary understanding.
• Knowledge of regenerative agriculture practices including:
• Soil organic matter enhancement
• Crop diversification and crop rotation
• Cover cropping and mulching
• Biological soil restoration
• Agroecological farming approaches
• Experience in farmer training, demonstrations, and exposure visits.
• Ability to develop:
• Package of Practices (PoPs)
• SOPs
• Farmer-friendly IEC materials
• Strong field monitoring, data analysis, and reporting skills.
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
