About SAATHII: Solidarity and Action Against the HIV Infection in India (SAATHII) is a registered non-profit organization established with the vision of ensuring universal access to healthcare, justice, and social protection for socio-economically marginalized women and children, communities affected by HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis, and individuals marginalized on the basis of their sexuality and gender identity. Headquartered in Chennai and supported by nine regional offices across India, SAATHII works at national, state, and community levels to strengthen health systems and improve equitable access to quality services. Through strategic partnerships with government agencies, civil society organizations, communities, and development partners, SAATHII advances its mission through technical assistance, capacity building, research, advocacy, knowledge management, information dissemination, and evidence-based programme implementation.

About Project: SAATHII, is implementing a project to strengthen the integration of Tuberculosis (TB) screening, diagnosis, treatment, and care within maternal health services for pregnant and postpartum women across selected districts in West Bengal, Odisha, Manipur, and Haryana. The project seeks to address the persistent gap in TB detection and treatment among this vulnerable population by embedding comprehensive TB services within existing antenatal and postnatal care platforms. Working closely with the Central TB Division, National Health Mission, State TB Divisions, district health authorities, frontline health workers, and private healthcare providers, the initiative aims to strengthen systematic screening, referral mechanisms, treatment initiation, and continuity of care. Through the implementation and documentation of practical, scalable, and sustainable service delivery models, the project will generate evidence and best practices to support wider adoption and institutionalization of integrated TB–maternal health services within government health systems.

Qualifications and skills:
1. Master's degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Health, Demography, Computer Science, or a related field. Candidates with a bachelor's degree and substantial relevant experience may also be considered.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in programme implementation, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), data management, research, or public health programmes.
3. Experience working with TB, maternal and child health, HIV, or other public health programmes is desirable.
4. Prior experience in the implementation, management, or monitoring of vector-borne disease control programmes, including malaria control initiatives, will be highly desirable
5. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing M&E systems, data collection tools, data quality assurance, and reporting mechanisms.
6. Strong skills in data analysis, interpretation, and use of evidence for programme planning and decision-making.
7. Experience in capacity building, training, and supportive supervision of programme staff on M&E and data management.
8. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), data management applications, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio. Knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software is desirable.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi and regional languages will be an advantage.
10. Strong organizational, coordination, and team management skills, with the ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
11. Willingness to travel extensively within the state and project locations as required.

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Supporting the State Programme Specialist in planning and execution of state-level work plans, ensuring alignment with project objectives and state priorities
2. Facilitating coordination with public and private stakeholders, including NTEP, NHM/MNCH, FOGSI, and district health systems, to support integrated service delivery
3. Supporting evidence-based advocacy for strengthening maternal TB screening, treatment, and preventive care services within state systems
4. Leading routine data collection, validation, and analysis to identify gaps in screening, diagnosis, treatment, and TPT coverage, and translating findings into actionable improvements
5. Supporting development and use of M&E tools, dashboards, and reporting formats aligned with NTEP and MNCH systems
6. Representing the project in state and district-level meetings, as required, to support coordination and implementation
7. Supporting implementation of state-level activities, including effective utilization of project resources and leveraging NHM PIP provisions for scale and sustainability
8. Assisting in preparation of periodic reports and documentation for state and national teams

Remuneration: Salary will be commensurate with skills, qualifications, years ‘of experience and current pay scale.
