1. Background
Centre for Social Markets (CSM) through its programmatic initiatives, has been actively supporting sustainability transformation within the textile and MSME sectors through awareness programs, capacity building, sustainability implementation support, and stakeholder engagement activities.
CSM works closely with textile manufacturers, exporters, industry associations, brands, and MSMEs to strengthen environmental and social sustainability practices across supply chains.
SustainSwitch is a sustainability-focused digital platform designed to support textile and apparel manufacturers in improving environmental and social sustainability performance through enabling systematic data collection, digital monitoring, reporting, support for connecting with relevant solutions and green finance schemes.
The platform supports industries in managing and monitoring key sustainability indicators including:
• Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions
• Energy Consumption
• Water Consumption
• Wastewater Management
• Chemical Management
• Waste and Circularity
• ESG Documentation & Performance improvements

SustainSwitch has been developed with a practical industry-oriented approach specifically targeting textile manufacturers, garment exporters, dyeing units, spinning mills, processing units, MSMEs, brands, solution providers and sustainability professionals.
The platform aims to simplify sustainability management by enabling industries to:
• Collect sustainability-related data through mobile and desktop systems
• Track environmental performance in a user-friendly format
• Improve compliance readiness
• Connect with sustainability solution providers through the Sustainability Clinic
• Build sustainability awareness among suppliers and factories
• Strengthen decarbonization and net-zero transition activities
Part of the integrated support offering the Sustainability Clinic is a helpline to support textiles MSMEs resolve any questions or queries that they may have related implementing sustainability practices in their facilities.
To strengthen market visibility and increase industry engagement, SustainSwitch intends to appoint an experienced marketing and communication agency/freelancer/team to support digital communication, promotional content creation, and awareness development activities.
This Terms of Reference (TOR) invites qualified agencies, media professionals, communication consultants, or creative teams with relevant experience—preferably in textile, sustainability, ESG, B2B communication, or manufacturing sectors—to submit their proposals.
2. Objective of the Assignment
The overall objective of this assignment is to support SustainSwitch & Sustainability clinic in developing professional, industry-focused, and impactful marketing and communication materials to improve visibility, awareness, engagement, and onboarding of textile industries and sustainability stakeholders.
The selected agency/team shall support SustainSwitch & clinic in:
• Developing marketing materials
• Creating and editing professional promotional videos
• Designing brochures, flyers, and social media creatives
• Supporting digital communication campaigns targeting the textiles industry and sustainability solutions providers
• Creating textile-oriented sustainability communication content
• Enhancing visibility among textile industries and MSMEs
• Developing awareness materials related to sustainability and ESG
• Supporting promotional activities during workshops, conferences, and stakeholder meetings
3. Scope of Work
The selected agency/team/ Person shall perform the following activities:
3.1 Creative Design Support
The agency/Team/Person shall support the design and development of branding materials aligned with SustainSwitch’s sustainability vision and its focus on the textile industry.

The agency/team/ Person shall support the creation of professional marketing and awareness videos for SustainSwitch.

The initial duration of the assignment shall be:

6. Eligibility Criteria
Interested agencies/freelancers/teams should meet the following minimum requirements:

The financial proposal should include:
• Cost per deliverable on rate basis covering all costs related to production, travel
• Monthly Social Media marketing cost for a high intensity communication clearly stating the number of deliverables factored in along with design iterations across LinkedIn; YouTube; Whatsapp
• Social media management fees if any for managing social media spends
• Additional service costs if applicable
• Expected payment terms should also be specified
The financial proposal should clearly indicate:

• Travel costs (where applicable)
• Editing/revision limits
