Job Opportunity: Accountant at VIDHAN NGO

VIDHAN NGO is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. As an integral part of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial health, ensuring transparency, and supporting our mission to drive positive change in the community.

Key Responsibilities
?Financial Management: Maintain accurate financial records, manage accounts payable/receivable, and oversee daily bookkeeping.
?NGO Compliance: Ensure full compliance with NGO accounting standards, FCRA regulations, tax laws, and grant reporting requirements.
?Budgeting: Assist in preparing project budgets, monitoring expenditures, and conducting variance analysis to ensure funds are utilized efficiently.
?Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and audit reports for management and donors.
?Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and smooth audit processes.
?Payroll & Taxes: Manage payroll processing, TDS filings, and other statutory tax compliance.
?Required Qualifications
?Education: MBA in Finance from a recognized university.
?Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience specifically within the NGO sector.

Skills:
?Strong proficiency in Tally.ERP 9/Prime and MS Office (especially Excel).
?In-depth knowledge of fund accounting, grant management, and budgeting.
?Familiarity with FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) guidelines is mandatory.
?Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
?High level of integrity and commitment to social development goals.
