The female Occupational Therapist will provide direct, on-site therapeutic services to infants (0-3 years age group). This full-time role involves assessing functional abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering interventions to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate closely with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and practical strategies. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate documentation, tracking progress, and adjusting interventions based on ongoing evaluation. The role also involves educating caregivers about occupational therapy goals and techniques, and contributing to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
• Graduate or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, including assessment tools, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions for fine motor, sensory integration, and activities of daily living.
• Experience working with children in clinical settings; familiarity with neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and learning differences is beneficial.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with caregivers, and social workers.
• Ability to maintain detailed, timely clinical documentation and manage caseloads efficiently while adhering to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Commitment to inclusive, person-centered care and cultural sensitivity in working with diverse children and caregivers.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort using electronic health records or similar digital systems.
• CPR/First Aid certification and any relevant pediatric or sensory integration training are desirable.
