Position Overview:

WORD is seeking a detail oriented and technically skilled MIS officer to manage data collection, analysis and reporting for livelihood and agriculture based interventions.
The MIS Officer will ensure accurate and timely documentation of project activities, outputs and impacts and support decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management : Design and maintain a robust Management Information System (MIS) for the project ensuring real time data entry and storage.
2. Monitoring and Evaluation Support: Work Closely with field staff to collect accurate data on farmer participation, training attendance, input distribution.
3. Data Analysis and reporting : Compile and analyze data to generate monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
4. Capacity building : Train field staff and community facilitators on data collection formats, record maintenance and use of digital tools wherever applicable.
5. Quality Control : Conduct periodic data verification and field visits to ensure accuracy of reports and resolve discrepancies.
6. Coordination : Support Project Manager and Reporting team by providing timely data, input support and success stories.
7.Documentation: Maintain databases on SHGs, training activities and livelihoods outcomes for use in reports, presentations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
1. Educational Qualification : Graduate/Post Graduation in Computer Science, Rural Development, Social Sciences or related field.
2.Experience : Minimum 2 - 3 years experience in MIS/ Data Management for development projects.
Experience in NGOs.

Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel and database Management Systems
2. Ability to generate dashboards, charts and reports.
3. Familiarity with mobile based data collection tools.

Soft Skills:
Strong Analytical Skills, Attention to Detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Language Skills:
Fluency in English and Odia

Compensation :
Around Rs,20,000/- Per month. Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience .
