Background
Doctors Without Borders India (DWBI)/Médecins Sans Frontières provides medical assistance during natural and manmade disasters through establishment of healthcare centres, implementing medical programs for critical illnesses on its own or with partners, working for creating medical awareness and capacity building and carry out/sponsor research to provide strategic input on relevant medical treatment options in India.
DWBI offers assistance to people in need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
GENERAL
Location: New Delhi
Number of positions available: 1 (full-time position)
Availability: 12 months, with possible extension
Starting date: ASAP

HR & Benefits:
Salary: INR 25,680 gross/ month (NON-NEGOTIABLE) and secondary benefits (pro rata) as per policies:
• 30 days annual leave, 12 days of National Holidays (all leave types will be pro-rated based on hire date) & Sick leaves are as per the Medical guidelines of DWBI
• 13th month salary benefit (pro-rated based on hire date)
• Contributions made for statutory benefit programs such as Provident Fund

Main purpose of Post:
Execute, according to hygienic standards, housekeeping, cleaning and tidying up activities in order to ensure Office and Guest house areas are in good condition.
Functional and Hierarchical Lines:
The position is hierarchically and functionally answerable to HR Assistant
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets and other rooms in DWBI premises.
• Do the laundry iron clothes and other housekeeping activities.
• Sweep and mop the floors of DWBI premises.
• Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.) as required.
• Upon arrival, prepare hot water for tea/coffee and refill drinking water in DWBI premises (office & guest house).
• Check that the toilets are well stocked with paper, soap and condoms.
• Check that the water supply (kitchen, showers, etc.) is sufficient during water cuts.
• Keep premises properly locked (doors, windows).
DWBI Section/Context Specific Accountabilities
• Ensure that line manager is informed of any problems that might be linked to the houses as well as problematic equipment or material (ex. broken, missing).
• Inform line manager of arrival of any materials for guest houses/office cleaning.
• Ensure that no material is taken out of DWBI Premises without prior authorization.
• Collect the garbage and dispose of as needed from guesthouse and office premises as per Delhi’s waste management rule.
• Prevent entry of anyone in the company premises without prior authorization by line manager.
• Be aware of any document regarding detailed responsibilities of housekeepers (ex. daily tasks, Integral request).
• Respect privacy of guest house residents, i.e., private stuff, clothes, notes, etc.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team as part of the intersectional office, in accordance with the monthly roster.

Experience :
• Working Experience of at least 2 years as Cleaner
• Desirable previous esperince in DWBI as cleaner position

• Hindi and English desirable.
