About the Project

SG Foundation invites applications from motivated professionals to support the implementation of the Government of Odisha’s flagship initiative:

“Revival and Sustainable Intensification of Forgotten Food & Neglected Crops in Odisha”

The project aims to strengthen sustainable agriculture, improve food and nutritional security, conserve indigenous crops, and enhance the livelihoods of farming communities across Keonjhar District over a five-year implementation period.

Open Positions

1. Community Resource Person (CRP)

Qualification

* 10th Pass or Plus Two (Arts/Science)
* Minimum one year of experience in community or development projects

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct community mobilization and farmer engagement
* Support field demonstrations and awareness activities
* Collect project data using Android/mobile applications
* Identify local crops and maintain field records
* Coordinate with project staff and village stakeholders

Required Skills

* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of plant/crop identification
* Comfortable with extensive field work
* Smartphone proficiency and digital data collection

2. District Project Coordinator / Additional District Project Coordinator

Qualification

* Master’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Botany, Life Sciences, Social Work, or related disciplines (Freshers may apply), or
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least three years of experience in the development sector

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate district-level implementation of project activities
* Supervise field teams and Community Resource Persons
* Prepare work plans, reports, and progress documentation
* Liaise with government departments and stakeholders
* Monitor project quality and ensure timely implementation

Required Skills

* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
* Fluency in Odia, English, and Hindi
* Ethical, flexible, and team-oriented approach

3. District Accountant

Qualification

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related discipline
* Minimum three years of experience in NGO or Government-funded projects

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain project accounts and financial records
* Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation
* Ensure compliance with donor and statutory requirements
* Assist in budgeting, audits, and financial monitoring

Required Skills

* Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and accounting software
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork
