GPSVS (Ghoghardiha Prakhand Swarajya Vikas Sangh) is 48 years old voluntary organisation registered under society registration act in 1978. Its headquarter is situated in Madhubani district Bihar. GPSVS has been working on Education, Health, WASH, Child protection and development,
Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Resilience, Migration & Skill Development. The organisation primarily working for Women, Children & Adolescents & youths. Its working area extends to different districts of Bihar like Madhubani, Darbhanga, Supaul, Purnia, Saharsha, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur and other districts. It has strong network in other districts as well.

Position: Logistics Coordinator
1. Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the transportation, supply, distribution, storage, and timely delivery of materials, equipment, and other project-related items required under the Shishu Ghar Initiative of APF. The role ensures smooth operational support across all project locations and effective coordination with internal teams, vendors, and field staff.

2. Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods, materials, and supplies for project implementation.
Ensure timely procurement support, delivery, receipt, and distribution of project-related items.
Maintain proper inventory records, stock registers, issue registers, and logistics documentation.
Coordinate with vendors, transporters, suppliers, and service providers for smooth logistics operations.
Track availability of materials and ensure timely replenishment to avoid operational delays.
Support dispatch and receipt of items between office, field units, and project centres.
Verify quality, quantity, and condition of materials received and delivered.
Maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, GRNs, and other related documents.
Assist in planning and organizing transportation for field visits, meetings, training, and project activities, if required.
Ensure compliance with organisational procedures, financial norms, and procurement guidelines.
Prepare periodic logistics and inventory reports for management review.
Resolve logistical issues and coordinate quickly for urgent requirements.
Perform any other related duties assigned by the reporting authority.
3. Qualifications and Experience
Graduate in any discipline; preference may be given to candidates with a background in logistics, supply chain management, commerce, or administration.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, inventory management, procurement support, or office administration.
Experience in development sector or project-based work will be an added advantage.
4. Required Skills and Competencies
Good knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and record keeping.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and email communication.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Problem-solving attitude and willingness to work in a team.
Ability to travel as per project requirement.
5. Reporting Relationship
The Logistics Coordinator will report to the designated Project Manager / Programme Manager or any other authority assigned by GPSVS.
6. Working Conditions
This is a project-based position under the Shishu Ghar Initiative of APF.
The role may require travel to field locations, creche centres, warehouses, and project offices.
The incumbent must be prepared to handle operational demands and time-sensitive tasks.
7. Remuneration
Rs. Upto 25,000.00 per month (Including HR/PF etc.) subject to knowledge & working experience
8. Location
Baisi Block under Purnea District, Bihar.
GPSVS reserves the right to modify the responsibilities, reporting structure, or terms of engagement as per project need.
