Accounts & Finance Manager

CTC: Up to Rs 7.2 Lakhs per annum (based on experience)

Established in 1998, Nightingales Medical Trust is one of India's leading not-for-profit organisations dedicated to elder care and dementia services. Through more than 20 projects across Bengaluru, we serve thousands of older persons every month with compassion, dignity, innovation, and affordability.
As we expand our services—including Smriti Gram, India's first integrated Dementia Village—we are looking for an experienced finance leader to strengthen our financial systems and support our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Accounts & Finance function across the organisation.
- Prepare, monitor, and control annual budgets and project finances.
- Ensure sound financial planning, cash flow management, and treasury operations.
- Review and approve bills, vouchers, payments, and financial transactions.
- Monitor and control all revenue channels pertaining to income
- Monitor utilisation of donor and CSR funds in accordance with funding agreements.
- Strengthen financial systems, internal controls, MIS, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure statutory compliance, including GST, Income Tax, FCRA, 12A, 80G, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory audits, financial reporting, and regulatory filings.
- Present monthly financial reports to the Leadership Team and periodic reports to the Board of Trustees.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial governance, transparency, and accountability.
Who we are looking for:
- Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
- Experience in the NGO/non-profit sector is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Thorough understanding of statutory compliances applicable to charitable trusts, including FCRA, 12A, 80G, CSR funding, GST, and Income Tax.
- Proven ability to build strong financial systems in a growing organisation.
- High integrity, analytical ability, attention to detail, and collaborative leadership.
- Passion for contributing to the social sector.
