Department Overview
The CanKids Resource Mobilization Department is responsible for identifying, vetting, and acquiring the required resources for accomplishing organizational goals. The Dept. focuses on mobilizing funds, supporters, media attention, and partners, while continuously working on refining the current fundraising channels and activities to ensure long-term, flexible, and unrestricted resources for CanKids.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proposal Development:
• Contribute to the development of impactful project proposals, renewal proposals, and funding pitches tailored to donor requirements.
• Develop new proposals for leads provided by the board and handle new acquisitions.
• Collaborate with program, finance, and communication teams to gather necessary project information and budgets for proposals.
2. Donor Retention and Management:
• Manage and nurture relationships with current donor partnerships.
• Execute innovative face-to-face fundraising strategies to strengthen donor retention.
• Ensure regular engagement with donors through updates, reports, and impactful communication to encourage long-term support.
• Maintain accurate records of donor contributions, interactions, and correspondence in a CRM system.
3. Reporting and Compliance:
• Prepare and submit donor reports, utilization certificates (UCs), and project updates as per agreed timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to donor interactions and fundraising activities.
• Track and analyze fundraising performance metrics and use insights to optimize strategies.
• Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities, outcomes, and donor engagement.
4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with program, finance, and communication teams to align donor expectations with organizational goals.
• Support senior leadership in donor meetings and strategic fundraising initiatives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective fundraising materials and messages.
5. Fundraising and Donor Engagement:
• Identify potential locations and events for fundraising activities and oversee their execution.
• Engage with potential donors respectfully and compellingly, effectively communicating the organization’s mission, values, and impact.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the face-to-face fundraising team, ensuring effective resource allocation and team management.
• Manage the fundraising budget, including expenses and resource allocation, to achieve optimal results.
6. Data Analysis and Strategy Optimization:
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and adjust approaches based on performance data.
• Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve donor engagement initiatives.
Other Extended Duties
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Department Head or Deputy General Manager.

• Corporate CSR / PSU CSR / International donor agencies/ Other Multilateral institutions

• Associations, Foundations, and Trusts
Required Qualifications and Experience
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in managing donors and fundraising activities.
· Strong skills in budget management and proposal writing
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
· Proficiency with MS Excel, PPT, and Word
· Language proficiency requirement – English
Salary: Upto- 40 to 60k Per Month
