CW Global Health Consulting, a US-based monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) firm, is engaging independent M&E consultants for short-term field evaluations of humanitarian projects in India — education and school equipment, vocational training and women's economic empowerment, clean water and sanitation (WASH), and community goods and social services.
We are hiring for two roles.
Primarily Delhi With Some Field Work in Bihar, Telangana, Tamil Nadu
- (1) Delhi-based M&E Consultants (1–2 positions, approx. 10 paid days): work alongside CW Global Health's US team during its Delhi field week (October 19–23), then independently complete site visits across Delhi NCR and travel assignments to Bihar and Andhra Pradesh (flights, accommodation, and per-diem covered). Female M&E professionals and enumerators are especially encouraged to apply — engagement with women and adolescent girls is led by female team members.
- (2) Tamil Nadu/Karnataka-based M&E Consultant (1 position, approx. 3–5 paid days): site visits in Coimbatore and Bengaluru; Tamil fluency required.
Both roles conduct structured site visits using tools and training CW Global Health provides — facility and equipment verification checklists, key-informant and beneficiary interviews, focus-group discussions, and mobile (ODK) surveys — and return complete, structured field data packs; CW Global Health writes all reports. This is a fieldwork role, not a report-writing role.
Requirements: 3–5 years of hands-on M&E or field-research experience (development projects, research organizations, or government programs); demonstrated experience personally conducting interviews and surveys; proficiency with ODK or similar mobile data collection; for the Delhi role, fluent Hindi and working English (Maithili/Bhojpuri an advantage for Bihar travel). A competitive daily professional fee is agreed by individual contract [typically $80–150/day depending on experience], plus pre-approved travel, accommodation, and per-diem for field days. Consultants must be independent of the projects under evaluation.
