Job Title: Counsellor – "Children Home" (Adarsh Bal Niketan)

Location: Village-Nal(Dhirad Sandrol), PO-Dhangyar , Tehsil- Pachhad, District-Sirmaur , (Himachal Pradesh) - 173024

Salary: Up to 20,000 / month (Negotiable based on experience and candidate skills)

Experience Required: 1 – 2 Years (Preferably in Child Counselling / Social Work)

Universal Development of Human and All Other Resources (Charitable Trust) runs Adarsh Bal Niketan, a "Children Home" established under the Juvenile Justice Act. We provide comprehensive residential care, emotional support, and a nurturing environment for orphaned, neglected, and children in need of care and protection.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal, psychological, and behavioral counselling to children in need of care and protection.

Work closely with the caretaking team in a participatory mode to foster a supportive, home-like environment.

Support children’s educational, emotional, and social well-being for their universal development.

Maintain required documentation and individual care plans as per Juvenile Justice Act guidelines.

Key Requirements:

Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in child counselling, social work, or guidance.

Education: Degree in Psychology, Social Work (MSW), Child Development, or Counselling.
(Female and Post Graduate Degree Holders prefrence)

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude with a deep commitment to child welfare. Ability to work like a family member in a residential care setting. Willingness to live and work in the calm and beautiful environment of District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh.
