SROUT invites applications from qualified and committed candidates for the following positions under the Creche Initiative Balrampur program.
1. SAFETY COORDINATOR
Vacancy: 01
Salary: Rs.44,000 per month
Reporting To: Program Manager
Nature of Employment: Contractual
Qualification
Graduate in any discipline, preferably Civil Engineering, with knowledge of Computer Applications and MS Office.
Experience:
2–3 years of experience in civil work, preferably with an NGO or development organization.
Job Description:
- Ensure that safety standards are followed across all creche centres during setup and operations.
- Assess proposed creche locations and guide the team on safety requirements, including repairs, modifications, fencing and installation of safety gates.
- Coordinate and monitor civil repair, modification and other safety-related work before centres become operational.
- Conduct regular visits and monthly safety audits of creche centres using prescribed safety checklists.
- Maintain updated records of centre-wise safety measures, facilities, safety status and required actions.
- Organize and facilitate fire-safety and other essential safety training for caregivers and team members.
- Coordinate with the program team and relevant stakeholders to address safety concerns and ensure safe environments across all creches.
2. CLUSTER COORDINATOR
Vacancy: 01
Salary: Rs.33,000 per month
Reporting To: Program Manager
Nature of Employment: Contractual
Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline with knowledge of Computer Applications and MS Office.
Experience:
2–3 years of experience in a community intervention project at an NGO.
Job Description:
- Support planning and coordination of village-level interventions using ICDS data and community needs.
- Lead community engagement with PRI members, Anganwadi Workers, ASHA Workers and other frontline stakeholders.
- Coordinate village selection, space identification, centre readiness, caregiver selection and creche setup.
- Support Supervisors in community mobilization, house visits, child enrolment and other field-level activities.
- Regularly visit creche centres and provide guidance, handholding and support to Supervisors and caregivers.
- Identify capacity-building needs and support training and development of the field team.
- Lead weekly team reviews and planning, and monitor centre operations, safety and growth monitoring.
- Coordinate with frontline health workers and community stakeholders for referrals, health interventions and community meetings.
- Use program data and field observations for effective planning, monitoring and review of interventions.
3. CRECHE SUPERVISOR
Vacancy: 01
Salary: Rs.22,000 per month
Reporting To: Cluster Coordinator and Program Manager
Nature of Employment: Contractual
Qualification
Graduate in any discipline.
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in a community intervention project at an NGO.
Job Description:
- Identify villages and communities for creche interventions using ICDS data and field-level assessment.
- Engage with PRI members, Anganwadi Workers, ASHA Workers, caregivers and community members to establish and support creches.
- Facilitate community meetings, Gram Sabhas, caregiver selection, space identification and readiness of creche centres.
- Support child enrolment, growth monitoring, health follow-up and referrals wherever required.
- Regularly visit creches and households, handhold caregivers and support quality childcare practices.
- Maintain accurate child records, registers, documentation and application-based data.
- Monitor creche activities and use field observations and data to plan interventions.
- Coordinate with the Cluster Coordinator, program team and other stakeholders for smooth functioning of creche centres.
- Participate in community meetings, health-related activities and other program interventions as required.
