Position Summary
UDAAN Society is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented MIS Executive to support the WASH project. The MIS Executive will be responsible for data management, monitoring, and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely information flow to support project decision-making and donor reporting.
About UDAAN Society: UDAAN Society is a non-governmental organization working towards community development, with a strong focus on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) initiatives. UDAAN Society implements a WASH project aimed at improving access to safe drinking water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene practices in Amroha.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, maintain, and update project databases/MIS systems for WASH-related activities and indicators
• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze field-level data from project locations
• Prepare periodic (weekly/monthly/quarterly) progress reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for reporting requirements
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely entry into designated MIS/DHIS platforms as required by funding agency/government systems
• Support project team in monitoring key WASH indicators (e.g., water supply coverage, sanitation coverage, hygiene behavior change indicators)
• Assist in preparing presentations, success stories, and reports for donor and government stakeholders
• Provide technical support and training to field staff on data collection tools and MIS usage
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of project data
• Support audits, evaluations, and assessments with relevant data as required

Required Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, Statistics, IT, Public Health, or a related field
• Minimum [2–4 years] of relevant experience in MIS/data management, preferably in development sector/NGO/WASH projects
• Prior experience working with UN agency-supported projects will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI/Tableau (or similar data visualization tools)
• Experience with mobile data collection tools (KoBo Toolbox, ODK, CommCare, etc.) preferred
• Familiarity with government MIS platforms (e.g., IMIS, SBM-G portal, Jal Jeevan Mission dashboard) desirable
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi
