Project : Clear Sight - Duration of project/up to 3 Years
Brief about Project: LEPRA Society will start implementation of Rural Eye Health Programme in three blocks of Rayagada district, Odisha, with the overall goal of “To reduce avoidable blindness and ensure continuity of care for vulnerable populations affected by vision impairment and blindness.” The project area includes three blocks namely, Bisam Cuttack, Muniguda and Kolnara of Rayagada district, Odisha.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
The Finance and Admin Officer will be responsible for managing financial operations, budget tracking, administrative functions, and procurement at the district level. The position will ensure strict compliance with organizational policies, statutory regulations, and donor guidelines through accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll management, inventory control, and office logistics. The Finance and Admin Officer will work closely with project teams, management, and external auditors to maintain financial integrity, ensure smooth administrative workflows, and support the effective implementation of project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day finance and administration in line with organizational and donor requirements.
• Maintain accounts, vouchers, bills, payments, advances and financial records.
• Monitor budgets, expenditure and cash flow and highlight variances.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory and asset management.
• Support payroll, staff records, travel and logistics.
• Prepare financial reports and support audits.
• Maintain proper financial, administrative and procurement documentation.
• Provide financial inputs for project planning, proposals and donor reports.
• Ensure timely reconciliation, compliance and efficient use of resources..
Qualification & Experience required:
Technical /Area of Expertise: The candidate should possess strong expertise in financial accounting, budget monitoring, financial reporting, and compliance, with hands-on proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems, alongside Advanced Excel. Complementing this financial baseline is a solid background in office administration, procurement management, vendor coordination, logistics, inventory control, and payroll processing, ensuring sound internal controls and seamless daily operations.
Education qualification required: Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Skills required:
Primary: Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping, Budget Tracking & Financial Reporting, Statutory Compliance & Auditing, Advanced Excel & Accounting Software (Tally/QuickBooks/ERP), Procurement & Vendor Management.
Secondary: Inventory & Asset Management, Payroll & Taxation Processing, Logistics & Office Administration, Petty Cash Management, Internal Audit & Internal Controls.
