About the Project
Vatsalya, with the support of SBI Foundation, is implementing a project in Lucknow district aimed at prevention of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) and support to survivors.
The project will focus on:
• Community awareness on child protection and prevention of CSA
• Counseling and support services for survivors
• Capacity building of teachers, community stakeholders and police personnel
• Engagement with 100 villages and 100 schools in Kakori Block
• Strengthening referral and support mechanisms for children and families
To implement the project, Vatsalya invites applications from qualified and motivated professionals for the following positions.
Available Positions
1. Project Coordinator – 1 Position
Salary: ?35,000 – ?40,000 per month (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Overall coordination and management of the project
• Planning and implementation of project activities
• Liaison with district administration, police, CWC, SJPU, JJB, education department and stakeholders
• Supervision of project staff and field activities
• Documentation, reporting and monitoring of project progress
Qualification & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Social Work / Social Sciences / Development Studies
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in child protection / community development
• Experience in project management and stakeholder coordination
2. Project Associate – 1 Position
Salary: ?30,000 – ?35,000 per month (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Support project planning and implementation
• Assist in organizing trainings and awareness programs
• Documentation, reporting and coordination with field team
• Support monitoring and data management
Qualification & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Social Work / Sociology / Development Studies
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
3. Legal Support Person – 1 Position
Salary: ?32,000 – ?38,000 per month (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal guidance and support to survivors of child sexual abuse
• Support families in navigating legal procedures under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012
• Coordinate with police, Child Welfare Committee and legal authorities
• Conduct legal awareness sessions for community stakeholders
Qualification & Experience:
• Degree in Law (LLB)
• Experience in child protection / gender justice / legal aid preferred
4. Field Coordinators – 4 Positions
Salary: ?18,000 – ?20,000 per month
Key Responsibilities:
• Community mobilization in villages and schools
• Conduct awareness sessions on child protection and CSA prevention
• Coordinate trainings for teachers and community groups
• Support survivor identification and referral services
• Field reporting and documentation
Qualification & Experience:
• Graduate in Social Work / Social Sciences preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in community work
Travel & Other Benefits
• Travel expenses will be reimbursed as per actuals according to project requirements.
