Position: Accountant cum M&E
Essential Qualification and experience: Graduate with working knowledge of accounting software, especially Tally. M&E. Experience is also required.
The objective of the Position: The accountant cum M&E will work closely with the Coordinator/Project Coordinator to ensure smooth conduct of financial/M&E related matters in multiple project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Book-keeping: Recording of expenditure with proper supporting documents
• Bank reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Maintaining inventory of supplies/consumables and other materials
• Maintaining and updating fixed assets and stock registers
• Disbursing salary and making payments to vendors/suppliers in a timely manner through the digital portal.
• Maintaining attendance register and leave records
• Preparing appointment letters for staff in consultation with Project Director & maintaining a copy of the same at the project office.
• Collection, validation and disbursement of travel reimbursements in consultation with Project Director
• Maintain HR related files and records, including filled and approval appraisal formats.
• Maintaining indent file, requisition slips, order file, quotation file, challan, cash book, ledger book, voucher file, rent and service charges file, office operating cost file, communication (telephone/T.A.), bank transactions, and recording the daily cash flow chart.
• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences & workshops on financial matters
• Preparation of financial reports like Statement of Expenditure (SoE) and Utilization Certificate (UC)
• Coordinating with finance staff from OSACS/SR/Donor for periodic financial review/audits and documenting the actions taken on the recommendations of the review/audit team.
• Submission of monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Providing required support in organizing meetings and other project activities
• Collaborate closely with the Project Coordinator/Project Director and other staff members of the projects for timely submission of programme reports/ data, UC and SoE. .
• Work for the multiple projects and seven days visit to other district.
• Take up any other work assigned by the Director.

Remuneration: Gross Rs.12000-15000 per month
