Gyan Seva Bharti Sansthan (GSBS) is a non-profit, voluntary development organization working since last 31 Years in Supaul and Darbhanga districts of Bihar for the socio-economic empowerment of marginalized and vulnerable communities. The organization is committed to promoting inclusive development through community-based interventions that improve access to education, health services, sustainable livelihoods, women empowerment, and social protection.
Since its inception, GSBS has been actively working in rural and underserved areas, which are highly flood affected to address issues affecting women, children, and disadvantaged households. The organization implements community-driven programs focusing on women empowerment, digital and financial literacy, child protection, health and nutrition, disaster resilience, and livelihood promotion. Through participatory approaches, GSBS mobilizes communities, strengthens local institutions, and builds the capacity of women and youth to become agents of positive change in their villages.
GSBS works closely with government departments, local self-governments, civil society organizations, and development partners to ensure effective implementation of development initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities of Office Administrative Support

Project: Empowering Rural Women through Digital Financial Literacy and Financial Inclusion in Bihar
The Office Administrative Support Staff will assist in the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Digital & Financial Literacy Centre and project office. The role involves providing administrative, logistical, and operational support to ensure efficient implementation of project activities related to digital financial literacy and financial inclusion among rural women.
1. Office Administration
• Maintain proper office records, files, and documentation related to project activities.
• Assist in organizing office correspondence, letters, and official communications.
• Ensure proper filing and storage of important documents, reports, and registers.
2. Logistic and Operational Support
• Provide logistical support for training sessions, workshops, meetings, and community events conducted at the centre.
• Arrange training materials, stationery, equipment, and other resources required for digital literacy classes.
• Ensure that the training hall and office space are properly arranged before sessions and meetings.
3. Record Keeping and Data Support
• Maintain attendance registers of participants, trainers, and staff.
• Assist in maintaining records related to training programs and centre activities.
• Support the project team in compiling data and maintaining documentation for reporting purposes.
4. Coordination Support
• Support coordination between project staff, trainers, community members, and external stakeholders.
• Assist in scheduling meetings, training sessions, and field visits.
• Communicate important information to staff and participants regarding training schedules and activities.
5. Asset and Inventory Management
• Maintain records of office equipment, computers, training tools, and other materials at the Digital & Financial Literacy Centre.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of office and training equipment.
• Monitor stock of stationery and training materials and inform supervisors when replenishment is required.
6. Administrative Assistance to Project Team
• Provide administrative support to the Project Coordinator, Supervisors, and Teachers.
• Assist in preparation and printing of training materials, reports, and awareness materials.
• Support documentation of project activities including photographs, registers, and files.
7. Office Maintenance and Support Services
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the office and training centre.
• Facilitate arrangements for visitors, meetings, and official events.
• Support other office management tasks assigned by the project management team.
