Summary:
The Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing will support the Head of Sheltered Workshop in driving sales, managing customer relationships, coordinating marketing activities, and ensuring smooth product and exhibition operations. The role requires excellent coordination, communication, and organisational skills, along with the ability to proactively manage tasks across teams.

Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Relations

Provide inputs on product development based on customer feedback and market needs.
Handle customer service through calls, WhatsApp (Shop Phone), and other communication channels.
Track stock availability and coordinate with Shop Assistant Managers to ensure proper stock levels.
Communicate stock deficits to the production team for timely replenishment.

Marketing & Communication
Share information about Jai Vakeel Foundation and its programmes with visitors/ customers
Identify and onboard new retail and corporate clients through calls, emails, and networking.
Coordinate product photography with the Photography and Communications teams.
Assist in creating brochures, catalogues, and marketing/promotional material.
Support the team to build the annual social media marketing plan in collaboration with the Communications Team
Identify products to promote during key festivals and occasions throughout the year.

Exhibition Coordination
Identify and participate in exhibitions where Jai Vakeel Foundation products can be sold
Coordinate with the internal team to allocate duties of staff and volunteers during events.
Support the team in packing, preparing lists of products displayed in exhibitions
Handle inquiries and orders received, and liaise with the production team for follow-ups.
Support the exhibitions in person when required along with overseeing all billing in the exhibitions

Art Products & Workshops
Collate ideas from various sources for art workshops and product development.
Coordinate with artists, co-curricular managers, and volunteers for workshop planning and execution
Coordinate sampling, order follow-ups, and delivery timelines with vendors.
Maintain stock of art product accessories (labels, tags, etc.).
Identify new product ideas, suitable price points, and saleable quantities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related field
2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing, retail operations, or related roles
Experience in the development sector is a plus

Other requirements:
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work with multiple teams
Proficiency in MS Office, WhatsApp Business, and email communication
