Consultant- Outreach Facilitator 

Family Planning Association of India (FPA India)

 

Location: Noida – Uttar Pradesh

 

Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. Computer knowledge required.

 

Reporting to: Project Manager HCL-Noida project

 

Experience & Skills: 1-3 years of working with NGOs in community mobilization.

 

Key core competencies required

  • Planning and timely delivery of work as planned
  • Plans and organizes work to meet individual, team and departmental objectives
  • Willing to travel within Noida

 

Responsibilities:

  • Daily visit to communities/home visits, mobilize the community and provide SRH & MCH services to the needy beneficiaries.
  • Identify and select the community-based providers (CBPs) for community mobilization work on daily basis for doorstep SRH/MCH services to the communities.
  • Capacity building, Supervision, monitoring and coordination of the CBPs to meet the deliverables and projections.
  • Establish partnerships or networking with District Hospitals, PHCs, CHCs, ANMs, ASHAs, AWWs and other stakeholders for timely and quality SRH & MCH service for the refer FP & MCH clients.
  • Carry out Maternal and Child heath work, Family Planning educational work, assist in Family Planning motivational and follow-up work, home visits, follow-up visits (whenever needed) to fulfill the projections.
  • Organize Health check-up camps, meetings, sessions, Orientation Training Camps, whenever required.
  • Meet local influential people, school teaches, local leaders and involve them in giving support to the programme.
  • To check the daily diaries of the field staff and to guide and assist them in their day-to-day programme.
  •  Prepare and submit weekly, monthly & quarterly reports of respective units.
  • Submit monthly accounts of Petty cash expenditure to Accounts Department
  • Identify underserved areas in the CLUSTER where special service sessions need to be organized
  • Monitoring of stocks of contraceptives and medicines at the CLUSTER level to ensure adequate and regular supplies
  • Conduct community mobilization meetings to involve decision makers and community groups in creating an enabling environment for FP acceptance.
  • Ensure that all activities are well documented and reports are generated and sent to Project Manager of Noida project periodically
  • Data entry in the project app of the work conducted in the field, beneficiaries reach, collating data of CBPs.
  • Carry out any other related work as instructed by Superiors.
