The Role
We are looking for a Senior Research & Communications Associate who can engage substantively with issues and contribute to knowledge-building processes.This role involves working across research, stakeholder experiences, and programme insights to produce clear, analytically grounded, and accessible outputs. It is not limited to editing or content packaging - the position requires independent thinking, synthesis, and writing.

What You’ll Do
• Synthesise insights from research, stakeholder consultations, and programme engagements
• Connect lived experiences with data, legal frameworks, and policy debates
• Produce a range of written outputs - from detailed reports to shorter, audience-specific formats (briefs, summaries, communication materials)
• Translate complex ideas into clear, accessible narratives for diverse audiences and stakeholders
• Support documentation and analysis of multi-stakeholder dialogues
• Repurpose existing material into sharp, well-structured communication outputs

Who You Are
• Postgraduate (preferred) or graduate in social sciences, law, development studies, or related fields
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in research, analysis, and writing in the social sector
• Demonstrated ability to engage deeply with subject matter, beyond editorial or communications support
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills across diverse sources
• Grounding in feminist and human rights frameworks, especially on gender and sexuality
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and understanding varied audiences
• Proficiency with digital tools for research, documentation, and communication - such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and familiarity with content formatting and presentation tools
• Excellent writing skills in English; working knowledge of Hindi preferred
• Collaborative, self-driven, and attentive to detail

Salary & Duration
• One-year position (with possibility of extension)
• Compensation: Rs 55,000 to 60,000 per month (consolidated), commensurate with experience and internal parity
