One of its flagship initiatives, the Shishu Ghar Program, focuses on providing safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care to young children while supporting families and communities.

To strengthen program implementation and ensure effective use of data for decision-making, Anantmool Foundation is seeking an experienced MIS Coordinator who can lead data management, reporting, analysis, and digital system support across program locations.

# Position Summary

The MIS Coordinator will be responsible for managing, strengthening, and supporting the Management Information System (MIS) of the Shishu Ghar Program. The role requires ensuring accurate and timely data collection, supporting field teams in the use of digital systems, analyzing program data, validating field-level information, and generating actionable insights to improve program performance.

The MIS Coordinator will act as a bridge between technology, data, and program implementation by ensuring that the Shishu Ghar mobile and web-based application is effectively utilized by all stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, analytical thinking, field engagement experience, problem-solving ability, and a passion for using data to drive social impact.

# Key Roles and Responsibilities

## A. MIS System Management and Technical Support

### Application Management

* Develop an in-depth understanding of the Shishu Ghar mobile and web-based application.
* Understand all modules, workflows, dashboards, reports, and system functionalities.
* Support the rollout of new modules and updates.
* Ensure smooth and effective use of the application across all operational locations.

### Technical Support

* Provide ongoing technical assistance to field staff and program teams.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues.
* Coordinate with software developers and technology partners for issue resolution and system improvements.
* Document recurring technical challenges and propose solutions.

### User Support

* Respond to queries and issues raised by field teams.
* Support users in login management, troubleshooting, and system navigation.
* Monitor user adoption and encourage effective utilization of digital tools.

## B. Capacity Building and Team Support

### Staff Orientation

* Conduct orientation sessions for newly recruited staff members.
* Build understanding of application workflows, data collection protocols, and reporting processes.
* Develop training materials and user guides where required.

### Ongoing Training and Handholding

* Conduct regular refresher trainings and support visits.
* Build the capacity of caregivers, supervisors, coordinators, and field teams on data management processes.
* Support teams in understanding how data can improve planning and decision-making.

### Digital Literacy Support

* Strengthen the digital skills of field teams.
* Promote confidence in using smartphones, applications, and digital reporting tools.
* Encourage compliance with digital reporting requirements.

## C. Data Collection and Monitoring

### Data Collection Support

* Support line listing and beneficiary registration activities.
* Guide teams on enrollment, attendance tracking, center check-ins, and child growth monitoring.
* Ensure data collection follows program standards and timelines.

### Data Submission Monitoring

* Monitor data submission status across all centers.
* Track reporting completeness and timeliness.
* Follow up with teams regarding pending or incomplete submissions.
* Escalate persistent issues to supervisors where necessary.

### Growth Monitoring Support

* Ensure timely recording of growth measurement data.
* Monitor adherence to growth monitoring schedules.
* Support teams in understanding and using growth-related indicators.

## D. Data Quality Assurance

### Data Validation

* Review submitted data regularly for completeness and accuracy.
* Conduct data verification exercises.
* Compare field records with system records to identify discrepancies.

### Quality Control

* Identify duplicates, inconsistencies, missing records, and unusual trends.
* Maintain data quality standards across all locations.
* Develop corrective action plans where data quality issues are identified.

### Field Verification

* Conduct field visits to verify reported information.
* Observe data collection practices.
* Support teams in correcting reporting errors and improving processes.

## E. Data Analysis and Reporting

### Reporting

* Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
* Develop dashboards and visual summaries for program management.
* Ensure timely dissemination of reports to relevant stakeholders.

### Data Analysis

* Analyze program trends, performance indicators, and implementation gaps.
* Identify operational challenges and opportunities for improvement.
* Generate actionable insights to support program decision-making.

### Review Meetings

* Participate actively in review and planning meetings.
* Present findings, trends, and recommendations.
* Support evidence-based discussions and action planning.

## F. Documentation and Knowledge Management

### Success Stories and Case Studies

* Identify children, caregivers, centers, and communities demonstrating positive outcomes.
* Conduct field visits and collect supporting information.
* Prepare case studies, success stories, and impact narratives.

### Documentation

* Maintain organized digital and physical records.
* Ensure reports, training materials, dashboards, and documentation are systematically archived.
* Support knowledge-sharing across teams.

## G. Program Monitoring and Field Engagement

### Field Visits

* Conduct regular visits to Shishu Ghar centers and project locations.
* Observe implementation quality and adherence to reporting processes.
* Provide on-site support and mentoring.

### Program Monitoring

* Track key program indicators.
* Support supervisors and program teams in monitoring performance.
* Flag risks, implementation gaps, and data concerns.

### Collaboration

* Work closely with Program Coordinators, Supervisors, Caregivers, and Management Teams.
* Collaborate with external technology partners where required.
* Support organizational learning through data-driven insights.

# Experience Requirements

## Mandatory

* Minimum **2 years of relevant experience** in:

* MIS Coordination

* Experience managing field-level data collection processes.

* Experience supporting users on mobile and web-based applications.

* Experience preparing reports and dashboards.

* Experience conducting data validation and quality checks.

* Experience working with NGOs, foundations, or development sector organizations.
* Experience in education, health, nutrition, child development, livelihoods, or community programs.
