POSITION TITLE: Marketing & Business Development Lead
LOCATION: Delhi
LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Yearly contract, extendable subject to availability of funds
Position Description
PopulationCouncil Consulting (PCC) is seeking experienced Marketing & Business Development Lead to drive awareness, adoption, and long-term sustainability of a flagship digital initiative. The role combines demand-generation marketing with strategic business development to strengthen government alignment, expand provider participation (public and private), and build diversified financing through CSR, grants, and service contracts.
Key Responsibilities
A. Business Development & Opportunity Identification
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across CSR, Government, private sector, donor, and institutional markets.
- Lead campaign strategy (audience segmentation, messaging, creatives, onboarding/join flows). refine responsibilities without project name.
B. Partnerships Development
- Build and manage a pipeline with private facilities, and CSR funders to embed the digital solution within maternal health ecosystem strengthening.
- Shape sustainable financing models (CSR sponsorships, service contracts, outcomes linked agreements, co funded pilots) and prepare concept notes, pitch decks, and submissions
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients, and partnerships
- Track funding opportunities relevant to the organization.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, CSR.
- Experience in development sector / consulting / social impact organizations preferred.
- Experience in drafting proposals.
- Demonstrated success in securing institutional partnerships across CSR, and provider networks.
- Strong storytelling skills (pitch decks, concept notes) and data-informed decision-making ability.
- Fluency in English and Hindi, with willingness to travel to target states as required.
