REACH is a non-profit organisation working on Tuberculosis and Non-Communicable Diseases, headquartered in Chennai. Established in 1999, REACH is currently implementing multiple projects across the country.
REACH is looking to recruit a Data associate to provide programme implementation support for its project 3 districts of Tamil Nadu and Delhi. The ideal candidate is Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics or related field who is looking for an opportunity to gain experience in monitoring and evaluation, use of digital tools, private sector ,project management etc. Specific responsibilities will include:
- Coordination with all district and field staff of project for smooth implementation of project.
- Provide support in implementation of project M&E tools and digital innovations.
- Undertake regular M&E visits to private providers and handhold staff on utilisation of reporting formats, registers, project specific M&E tool.
- Undertake regular M&E visits for validation of data as per project requirement.
- Support technical officer of project as per project need on day to day basis to meet timelines of submission of programme and project report.
- Conduct capacity building sessions for project staff as per need of programme
- Undertake regular visits to various health facilities and TPT clinics to facilitate field testing, uptake and troubleshooting of digital interventions proposed under project.
- Ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation of all project activities and its submission as per timelines.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by organisation.
Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
- The ideal candidate is Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics or related field with at least 1 year of experience
- Experience of working with NGO sector
- Experience in working on TB and /or private sector would be an advantage
- Exemplary analytical, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
- Excellent skills in MS Office, online reporting tools- Epicollect,Redcap,KoBo toolbox, and other relevant software
- Ability to effectively manage relationships and coordinate with team based at different locations within state.
- High ethical standards and transparent working style
- Ability to read and write fluently in local language and English
- Willingness to travel extensively within state ( 10 days a month minimum)
