Job Summary
Nila is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Retail executive for Nila shop in Bangalore. The associate will assist the shop incharge in delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidates will possess a strong passion for design and handmade crafts, and a commitment to maintaining the boutique’s luxurious ambiance.
Roles and responsibilities
• Customer Service:
o Greet and assist customers with a warm and professional demeanor.
o Provide in-depth knowledge of products, including their design, craftsmanship, and unique features.
o Address customer inquiries, offer personalized recommendations, and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.

• Sales Support:
o Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet individual and store targets.
o Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
o Maintain a high standard of product presentation through effective visual merchandising.

• Store Maintenance:
o Assist in maintaining the store’s cleanliness and organization, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
o Help with restocking shelves, managing inventory and organizing the backroom.
o Support the implementation of visual merchandising and store layout plans to enhance product displays.

• Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with the Shop incharge and other team members to achieve store goals and provide seamless customer service.
o Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques.
o Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.

• Administrative Tasks:
o Assist in handling store administrative tasks, including inventory counts and updating stock records.
o Follow store policies and procedures to ensure compliance with operational standards.
o Support in preparing reports and providing feedback on sales performance

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong interest in design, handmade crafts, and luxury products is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail management software is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.

Location: Nila @ Cinnamon, Bangalore
Job Status: Full Time
Timing: 10 am to 7 pm
Working days: Monday to Sunday (6 days in a week working on roster system)
