What Will You Do?
- Contextualise a Whole-of-Economy approach by enabling convergence across departments, PRIs, and CBOs to drive local economic development.
- Contribute to planning, development, and operationalisation of Rural Economic Zones / Rural Growth Centres as integrated clusters for enterprise, entrepreneurship, and value-chain development.
- Drive promotion of women and youth-led nano and mini enterprises in rural areas.
- Lead identification and development of green and sustainable value chains for rural industrialisation.
- Design and operationalise programs, guidelines, and SoPs related to rural industrialisation.
- Draft and operationalise State CSR policy, frameworks, and Ease of Doing CSR mechanisms in the state.
- Coordinate with districts, line departments, corporates, and partner institutions for promotion of rural industrialisation in Chhattisgarh.
- Prepare policy notes, reports, presentations, and progress updates on enterprise and entrepreneurship promotion.
- Organise and manage meetings, workshops, consultations, and review processes related to enterprise and entrepreneurship promotion in the State.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Post-graduate degree in Public Policy, Development Studies, Rural Management, Social Sciences, or a related field of study with 5 or more years of experience relevant to this position.
- Strong understanding of government systems, rural development programs, and public financing mechanisms.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder coordination, policy and program implementation, livelihoods-based interventions, and collaboration with government, private sector, civil society, or CSR partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including policy and program documentation, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in dynamic, multi-sectoral environments.
- Multi-lingual with experience working in diverse cultural contexts.
Employment Terms
This is a third-party payroll position and is initially set for a year's duration.
