Organization: Doctors For You (Healthcare NGO)
Location: Delhi and Mumbai
Qualification and Experience:
• Master's Degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the NGO/Development sector.
• Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
• Experience managing HR operations across multiple projects and locations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for project and support staff.
• Develop recruitment plans in coordination with program teams.
• Conduct sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.
• Maintain recruitment databases and talent pipelines.
2. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:
• Facilitate employee induction and orientation programs.
• Ensure completion of joining formalities and documentation.
• Manage employee confirmations, transfers, resignations, and exit processes.
3. Performance Management:
• Coordinate probation assessments and annual performance appraisals.
• Support managers in setting performance indicators and targets.
• Monitor performance review processes and follow-up actions.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans where required.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement:
• Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional work culture.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and staff welfare activities.
• Facilitate effective communication between management and employees.
5. HR Operations & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and organizational policies.
• Maintain employee records, personnel files, and HRMIS databases.
• Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, contracts, and employee handbooks.
• Monitor attendance, leave management, and workforce reporting.
6. Compensation & Benefits:
• Oversee payroll inputs and salary processing.
• Ensure timely processing of employee benefits, reimbursements, and final settlements.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation data.
7. Learning & Development:
• Identify organizational training and development needs.
• Coordinate staff capacity-building programs and workshops.
• Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
8. Safeguarding & Organizational Culture:
• Promote safeguarding, gender equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
• Ensure adherence to the organization's Code of Conduct and ethical standards.
• Conduct staff awareness sessions on safeguarding and workplace policies.
9. Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports.
• Track recruitment, retention, attrition, training, and employee engagement metrics.
• Support internal, external, and donor audits related to HR functions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation.
