Position: Assistant Programme / Field Officer
Age : 25 - 45
Nature of Engagement :Purely Contractual Basis (Initially for One Year, extendable based on satisfactory performance and project requirements)

Number of Posts : 3 nos.
Monthly Remuneration : Consolidated Honorarium: Rs 15,000/- per month with additional Mobile top up & Conveyance for Field mobilisiation(as decided by management).

Essential Eligibility Criteria :
1. Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
2. Candidate must possess a valid Two-Wheeler Driving License.
3. Candidate must own and regularly use a personal two-wheeler for field visits.
4. Proficiency in Odia & English language (Reading, Writing and Speaking) is compulsory.
5. Preference shall be given to candidates belonging to Khurda District or nearby areas of Odisha.
6. Female candidates shall be considered equally eligible and are encouraged to apply.
7.Computer knowledge is mandatory.(MS-Office,Google forms,Documentation)
8.Android phone is mandatory.

Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience in Field work at rural areas in Skill Development, Rural Development, Livelihood Promotion, Community Mobilization, NGO Sector, Training Institutions, Government Sponsored Schemes or Social Sector Projects.
2. Knowledge of digital reporting, MS Office, Google Forms, MIS systems and documentation.
3. Experience in mobilizing rural youth, women, artisans, self-help groups and marginalized communities.
4. Coordination with SHG groups, promoters, District coordinators, Ward members, Sarpanch etc.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Programme/Field Officer shall primarily be responsible for extensive field operations and implementation support for various activities of NGO.Mobilise, collect documents for registration ,Enrollment process, Conduct Skill development trainings, Identify Resource persons, Venue for training at grassroot level, conduct activities as per annual action plan etc.

Community Mobilization :
- Mobilise students, collect documents for registration ,Online Enrollment process, Conduct Skill development trainings, Identify Resource persons, Venue for training at grassroot level, conduct activities as per annual action plan etc
- Conduct awareness campaigns in villages, panchayats, urban slums and underserved habitations.
- Identify and mobilize eligible beneficiaries for NGO training programmes.
- Establish rapport with local communities, Self Help Groups (SHGs), youth clubs and community leaders.
- Organize counselling sessions and orientation meetings.

Field Operations :
- Undertake extensive travel in rural and remote areas using own two-wheeler.
- Visit training centres regularly and monitor training activities, attendance of every training programme.
- Ensure adequate enrolment and retention of trainees.
- Verify beneficiary details and maintain field records.

Coordination and Liaison:
- Coordinate with Gram Panchayats, Block Offices, local institutions and community-based organizations.
- Facilitate convergence with government departments wherever required.
- Support placement, self-employment and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Monitoring and Documentation :
- Prepare field visit reports, mobilization reports and monthly progress reports.
- Collect photographs, testimonials and success stories.
- Maintain trainee databases and documentation as per NGO and Ministry guidelines.
- Assist in organizing exhibitions, awareness camps, certification events and special drives.

Other Responsibilities:
- Work six days a week as per institutional requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Director/Chairperson of NGO from time to time.
- Maintain professional conduct and uphold the objectives of NGO.

Working Conditions:
- The position requires extensive and regular field travel in rural areas.
- Candidates should be physically fit and willing to undertake continuous community engagement activities.
- No separate conveyance facility except field visits shall ordinarily be provided unless specifically approved under institutional norms.

The decision of NGO shall be final in all matters relating to selection and engagement.
