JobPurpose:
The role is to work with Schools and Children under the guidance thematic leads to take forward a project which is focused on 21stcentury skills in schools through facilitating capacity building programmes for the school functionaries to work under a model of TAC (Teaching, Application and Coaching). Besides to this, undertaking baseline and end lines, working with teachers and students to inculcate the skills imparted through Teacher Training includes activity-based and experiential learning for skill development. The role involves providing continuous mentoring to the teachers and students to proactive the skills which was provided through training programmes:
  • 21st Century Skills through Experiential Teaching and Learning Methods in identified government schools including introducing experiential teaching-learning (ETL) and project-based learning (PBL) methods in classrooms
  • The Facilitator role is to design and facilitate sessions for the teachers with a special focus on critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication along with experiential teaching-learning (ETL) and project-based learning (PBL
  • The overall intervention to foster to create a pool of resource teachers (Master Trainers) who equipped to mentor their peers and lead educational innovations within the school and in their cluster locations.
  • The Major role is to build the teacher capacities, facilitating TAC approach, understand the classroom transaction to provide the on-job support for the teachers to demonstrate their skills in the schools.
  • Introducing and demonstrating new teaching skills as a Facilitator including activity-based teaching, experiential learning and encourage teachers to create no and low-cost teaching material to practice in their schools for ensuring quality teaching and student participation the classroom transaction.
  • Facilitating Project activities, building a strong relationship with schools, teachers, students and other project stakeholders for an effective implementation of the project to fulfill the overall project objectives as per the project design.

Field Coordinator will play a role of Academic Facilitator to undertake Teacher Training with a special focus on 21st century skills in a given geography for successful implementation of the project.He/She is responsible for conducting meetings with Teachers, students, School managements, block and cluster resource persons based on the needs of the project.
 
Field Coordinator will create a healthy and supportive environment in schools which all activities can be delivered by supporting and coordinating with local communities and appropriate stakeholders to meet the project objectives with quality with timely deliverables.
  • Support the Assistant Manager – Be the focal person to plan and implement project activitiesat theareawise/Clusterlevelas pertheproject design and time frame.
  • Contribute his/her actions for strengthening of a project strategy to fulfill the overall project objective and its quality parameters
  • Monitoring the project progress to understand the challenges and to work on appropriate strategies.
