M&E Associate
Location: Guwahati, Assam (with regular travel to project districts across Northeast)
Salary: INR 25,000/- to INR 28,000/-
Key Responsibilities:
• Data collection & entry: Support timely collection, entry, and cleaning of programme data from partner organisations under R2B programmes;
• MIS management: Maintain and update Management Information Systems (Excel/Google Sheets based), ensuring data accuracy and consistency across partners;
• Reporting & dashboards: Assist in updating dashboards and preparing periodic MEL reports for internal review and donor reporting;
• Indicator tracking: Support tracking of programme indicators against year-wise targets and MEL framework requirements;
• Field visits: Conduct field visits to partner organisations and project sites for data verification, monitoring, and quality checks;
• Tools & templates: Support development and maintenance of data collection formats, MEL tools, and reporting templates;
• Partner coordination: Liaise with partner organisation staff to ensure timely, accurate, and complete data submission;
• Capacity building support: Assist in building the data management and reporting capacity of partner organisation staff;
• Research: Assist in baseline studies, assessments, surveys, evaluations, and learning exercises;
• Documenting Change Stories: Contribute to documentation of case studies, success stories, lessons learned, and best practices.
Who We Are Looking For:
• Someone with strong attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to data management;
• Working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets, including formulas and basic data analysis;
• Readiness and willingness to regularly travel to field locations across the northeast;
• Ability and readiness to work collaboratively in a team, through timely communication and execution with minimum supervision;
• Language proficiency: highly proficient in English (written and spoken)
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple partner organisations and stakeholders;
• Familiarity with KoboToolbox, ODK, Google Forms, or similar tools will be an advantage.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Holding a minimum of an Undergraduate degree.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in M&E, data management, and/or the development/non-profit sector preferred.
