Reporting To : Executive Director (with coordination support to Finance Department)

Position Summary
The HR cum Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, strengthening HR systems and compliance, and enhancing the organization's digital presence through effective social media management and communication strategies. The position requires a dynamic professional who can balance people management with organizational branding and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
A. Human Resource Management
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
• Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, job description development, vacancy announcements, screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure timely closure of vacancies.
• Draft and issue offer letters, appointment letters, contracts, and other employment-related documents.
• Design and implement effective induction and onboarding programs for new employees.

2. Employee Lifecycle Management
• Manage employee records and documentation from hiring to separation.
• Facilitate employee confirmations, contract renewals, transfers, promotions, and exits.
• Process employee separation formalities, including Full & Final (F&F) settlements and clearance procedures.

3. HR Operations & Compliance
• Maintain and update employee records in both digital and physical formats.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, labor laws, donor requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Support policy development, revisions, and implementation across all project locations.
• Assist in maintaining HR databases, attendance records, leave management, and personnel files.

4. Employee Engagement & Performance Management
• Provide guidance to employees on organizational policies and procedures.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and welfare activities.
• Support performance appraisal processes, feedback mechanisms, and staff development plans.
• Facilitate training and capacity-building programs based on organizational needs.
• Assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.

5. Coordination & Internal Committees
• Act as a communication bridge between management and employees.
• Coordinate with the Internal Committee (PoSH), Steering Committee, and other organizational committees.
• Support implementation of workplace safety, inclusion, and employee well-being initiatives.

B. Social Media & Communications Management
1. Digital Presence & Brand Building
• Manage and grow the organization's presence across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with organizational goals and campaigns.
• Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and visual identity across all digital channels.

2. Content Development & Storytelling
• Create, edit, and publish engaging content, including success stories, project updates, impact stories, event highlights, blogs, graphics, and videos.
• Coordinate with program teams to gather field information, photographs, testimonials, and case studies.

3. Social Media Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor social media performance and audience engagement metrics.
• Prepare monthly analytics reports with recommendations for improving reach and engagement.
• Track trends and identify opportunities to enhance organizational visibility and impact.

4. Website & Digital Communication Support
• Support regular updates of organizational website content.
• Coordinate with designers, photographers, and external vendors for communication and branding requirements.
• Ensure timely dissemination of organizational announcements, campaigns, and achievements.

Educational Qualification
• MBA (HR), MSW (HR), PMIR, or equivalent qualification from a recognized UGC-approved university/institution.
• Additional certification in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, or Communications will be an added advantage.

Experience
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in Human Resource Management.
• Experience in social media management, digital communications, or organizational branding is desirable.
• Candidates with prior experience in the non-profit/development sector will be preferred.

Technical Competencies
• Strong understanding of HR functions, recruitment processes, employee documentation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience with HRMS platforms and HR reporting systems.
• Proficiency in social media management tools, content scheduling platforms, and analytics dashboards.
• Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools will be an advantage.
• Excellent command of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: No bar for the right candidate.
