Post- Residential Supervisor
Type of Employment- Contractual
Duration- 6 months (Renewable)
Location - Kolkata
Essential Qualifications- Post Graduate degree in Social Work /Sociology/ Any Social Science from a recognized University. The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong writing skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience- At least 3 years of experience of working with the Govt./Non- Government Organization in Documentation, training & Capacity Building, Project formulation/ implementation, monitoring and supervision preferably in the field of Women & Child Development/ Social Welfare
Computer Skills- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Power point.
Languages known – Excellent coordination skills in English. Working knowledge of Bengali and Hindi is mandatory.
Age-22 to 45 years
Job responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all services provided to children are in compliance with the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, Mission Vatsalya Scheme, and other applicable child protection standards.
2. Oversee the overall functioning of the Child Care Institution (CCI) and ensure a safe, nurturing, and child-friendly environment.
3. Ensure that every child receives appropriate care and services, including education, vocational training, life skills development, counseling, rehabilitation, healthcare, legal aid, and other support as required.
4. Develop, monitor, and follow up on individual care and rehabilitation plans for children.
5. Organize and facilitate meetings of the Management Committee and ensure implementation of decisions.
6. Supervise, guide, and monitor the performance of all staff and service providers within the CCI.
7. Manage administrative records, statutory documentation, reporting requirements, and correspondence with relevant authorities.
8. Oversee financial management of the institution, including maintenance of accounts, cash books, vouchers, expenditure records, budget monitoring, and preparation of development plans and proposals.
9. Liaise and coordinate with government departments, Child Welfare Committees, District Child Protection Units, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
10. Be available on a 24×7 basis to address emergencies and institutional needs and reside within the CCI premises.
