Travel Requirement
Regular travel to assigned schools and communities within the project area for implementation, monitoring, awareness activities, and stakeholder engagement.

Position Summary
The Junior Program Officer / Volunteer supports the implementation of The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT) Program at the school and community level. The role focuses on facilitating school sessions, supporting teachers and students, organizing interactive events, maintaining program resources, and documenting project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Implementation Support
• Assist teachers in delivering the curriculum using approved program Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, including Teacher's Curriculum Manuals (TCM), Student Workbooks, posters, charts, handouts, and visual aids.
• Support classroom activities to ensure active participation and understanding among students.
• Assist in implementing program modules in accordance with project guidelines and standards.
2. Digital & Animated Learning Sessions
• Facilitate digital hygiene education sessions using animation videos and multimedia content where smart classroom facilities are available.
• Encourage active student participation during digital learning activities.
• Support teachers in effectively integrating digital learning tools into classroom sessions.
3. Events, Competitions & Awareness Activities
• Organize and support quizzes, competitions, awareness campaigns, exhibitions, and special day celebrations related to hygiene and health.
• Facilitate student participation in creative and interactive learning activities.
• Coordinate with teachers and school authorities to ensure successful event implementation.
• Support documentation and reporting of event outcomes.
4. Community & Parent Engagement
• Conduct awareness sessions for parents and community members.
• Support community outreach activities and campaigns.
• Build positive relationships with community stakeholders to support project objectives.
5. Documentation, Monitoring & Reporting
• Collect information on program activities, outcomes, and participant engagement.
• Document success stories, case studies, testimonials, and examples of positive behavior change among students.
• Capture photographs and supporting evidence in accordance with project guidelines.
• Maintain daily activity records and reports using prescribed formats.
• Submit timely updates and reports to the Program Officer.
• Support data collection and monitoring activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
• Graduate degree in Education, Social Sciences, Public Health, Social Work, or related fields preferred.
Experience
• Prior experience in community work, education, youth engagement, volunteering, or development programs is desirable.
• Experience working with schools, children, and community groups will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with children, teachers, parents, and community members.
• Basic facilitation and presentation skills.
• Good organizational and documentation abilities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and mobile-based reporting tools.
• Enthusiasm for working with children and promoting positive behavior change.
