FPAI is looking for an experienced and strategic Advocacy Manager (Consultant) to drive policy change and amplify our mission for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and HIV rights. The person will lead advocacy initiatives, build strategic partnerships, and influence policy at local and national levels.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of SRHR issues and demonstrated experience in designing and leading advocacy strategies, policy engagement and stakeholder influencing at district, state and/or national level.
We are particularly interested in a professional who can move beyond advocacy activities to demonstrate concrete outcomes of advocacy, including contributions to changes in policies, programmes, guidelines, budgets, institutional practices or service delivery.

Educational Qualification: Post-graduation in Social Work/Social Science.
Experience:
- Three – five years of extensive experience in managing projects on Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights & HIV and in Advocacy work on SRH and HIV.
- Deep understanding of SRH & HIV advocacy landscape and challenges
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Leadership capacity to guide and work with diverse teams and build strategic relationships
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies for SRH and HIV rights
- Engage with policymakers, government agencies, and stakeholders
- Build coalitions with NGOs, community groups, and networks
- Guide FPAI branches and partners to initiative advocacy initiatives and uptake of integrated SRH-HIV
- Monitor policy developments and identify advocacy opportunities
- Document project progress and processes, prepare detailed program reports; research updates; and presentations for dissemination.
- Carry out any other related work assigned by Department Head/Management from time to time depending on the exigencies of the work of the Association.
