JOB SCOPE:
Raise awareness among communities on issues related to river restoration through community meetings, mobilisation activities, awareness campaigns, and targeted engagement initiatives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
• Raise awareness among community members about river stabilisation and the importance of river restoration and ecological conservation.
• Provide on-ground coordination and support for the planning and organisation of periodic community meetings, workshops, awareness programmes, and other project-related events, ensuring their smooth execution.
• Support logistical arrangements, including participant coordination, venue management, event setup, and preparation of event-related documentation.
• Assist in organising and coordinating regular meetings with key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project implementation.
• Maintain regular communication and coordination with beneficiaries to support the effective implementation of project activities.
• Assist in completing project-related forms, maintaining records, and collecting the necessary documents and information required for project activities.
• Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the reporting authority from time to time.
SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
Education: B.SC and M.SC in Agriculture, Diploma or B.E. in Civil Works, MSW or B.SC or M.SC in Environmental Studies.
Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience as Community Mobiliser
Languages: Should be proficient in Hindi, Marathi and English (preferred).
