Position: District Trainer
Number of Positions – 01
Location – Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh
Monthly Remuneration – Up to Rs 25,000 per month (commensurate with skills & experience)

Position Overview
The District Trainer will be responsible for designing, contextualizing, and delivering specialized training modules for Paryavaran Youth Leaders to ensure high-quality implementation of the programme. The position will focus on strengthening the knowledge, facilitation skills, and field preparedness of frontline teams while maintaining consistency and quality in programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Contextualize and deliver specialized training modules for Paryavaran Youth Leaders based on local needs and programme objectives.
• Conduct induction, refresher, and capacity-building workshops on experiential learning methodologies, behavioural change communication, environmental awareness, and interactive game facilitation.
• Build the facilitation, communication, classroom management, and leadership skills of Youth Leaders.
• Develop training calendars, session plans, training aids, and resource materials.
• Demonstrate and model effective delivery of campaign activities, games, and participatory learning tools.
• Periodically visit schools to conduct field-level quality assurance and monitoring during the 2-day intervention programmes.
• Observe field sessions and provide technical feedback, coaching, and capacity-building support to Paryavaran Youth Leaders and Paryavaran Mentors.
• Support school authorities, teachers, and stakeholders during orientation and sensitization sessions.
• Ensure standardized and high-energy delivery of campaign messages across all intervention districts.
• Assess training effectiveness through pre-post assessments, observations, and participant feedback.
• Identify skill gaps among field teams and design appropriate refresher training interventions.
• Coordinate with the District Programme Manager to strengthen programme implementation quality.
• Document training reports, attendance records, field observations, and recommendations for programme improvement.
• Support innovation and continuous improvement in training methodologies and programme delivery approaches

Educational Qualification
Graduation or Postgraduate degree in Social Work / Rural Development/ Sociology/ Education/ Psychology/ Environmental Science/ Development Studies/Community Development/ social science or any related discipline.
Additional certification in Training and Facilitation, Behavior Change Communication (BCC), Life Skills Education, Environmental Education, or Capacity Building will be an added advantage.

Experience
• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 1 years of experience in conducting trainings, workshops, or capacity-building programmes.
• Experience working with schools, adolescents, youth groups, community institutions, NGOs, CSR projects, or government programmes.
• Experience in behavior change communication, environmental education, education programmes, youth development, or community mobilization is preferred.
