Job Opportunity – Support Teacher Cum Assistant Counselor*

*Position:* Educational & Psychosocial Support

*Qualification:* Diploma in Counseling / B.Ed. / M.A. in Psychology

*CTC:* Rs 2.40 Lakh – 2.64 Lakh per annum
(*Monthly Salary:* 20,000 – 22,000)

*Location:* Yerawada, Dighi, Dapodi, Budhwar Peth & Bhugaon
(One candidate will be responsible for all locations)

*Language Requirement:* Marathi & Basic English

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide educational support and remedial education to children referred by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and residing in Child Care Institutions (CCIs)

* Provide academic assistance, homework support, and subject-wise guidance to children

* Conduct remedial teaching sessions using child-friendly and activity-based learning methods

* Prepare lesson plans and educational activities based on children’s learning needs

* Support children in improving academic skills and classroom participation

* Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for children

* Address emotional, behavioral, and trauma-related concerns of children

* Organize life skills, recreational, and developmental activities

* Maintain children’s progress records and prepare reports

* Coordinate with CWC members, social workers, CCI staff, and families

* Assist in the rehabilitation and reintegration process of children

* Ensure compliance with child protection and safety standards

### *Required Skills:*

* Good teaching, counseling, and communication skills
* Ability to explain concepts in a simple and child-friendly manner
* Knowledge of remedial teaching techniques and activity-based learning methods
* Classroom management and child engagement skills
* Ability to prepare lesson plans and educational activities
* Documentation and report writing skills
* Ability to work with vulnerable children and adolescents
* Willingness to travel across assigned locations
