Position Summary
The Field Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of a vermicompost production unit, spanning site selection, pit construction, and overall monitoring of the ongoing waste management project. A core element of this role involves training slum women, ensuring rigorous quality control of the compost output, and maintaining meticulous documentation of field activities, production data, and beneficiary progress.

• Technical Implementation: Oversee the construction of vermipits and manage the bed feeding process (including moisture control and pre-decomposition of organic waste).
• Process Monitoring: Regularly monitor bed conditions, specifically tracking temperature, moisture levels, and compost production metrics.
• Harvesting & Packaging: Supervise the extraction of vermicompost, verify proper moisture content, and manage final packaging.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of final output by ensuring strict and proper segregation of incoming organic waste.
2. Documentation, Reporting & Data Management (30%)
• Real-time Data Collection: Maintain physical registers and record daily data regarding raw materials consumed, worker participation hours, bed conditions, and production volume via physical verification.
• Project Progress Reporting: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports (Target vs. Actuals) for the Senior Programme Lead.
• Impact Documentation: Capture and write compelling success stories, case studies, and beneficiary profiles from the ground.
• Inventory Tracking: Meticulously track and verify the purchase/application of inputs (worms, bio-waste) and the distribution/sale of the final output.
3. Coordination & Training (10%)
• Beneficiary Capacity Building: Conduct interactive training sessions for local women's self-help groups on vermicomposting techniques, bed maintenance, and harvesting.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate closely with local self-government bodies, community leaders, project partners, and women residents to ensure seamless field operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) from a recognized university.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of grass-roots field experience in CSR projects, organic farming, waste management, or livelihood intervention programs.
• Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bengali, Hindi, and English.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for reporting and data management.
