About the Role
The Field Mobilizer will play a critical role in community engagement, beneficiary mobilization, and field-level implementation of the Good School/Village Project. The position requires strong community outreach skills, local stakeholder engagement, and the ability to support project activities at the grassroots level. The Field Mobilizer will work closely with the Program Officer to ensure effective implementation of project interventions and achievement of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Community Mobilization & Engagement
- Build strong relationships with community members, beneficiaries, local leaders, and frontline workers.
- Mobilize children, parents, youth, and community members to participate in project activities.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with beneficiaries to ensure active participation and engagement.
- Facilitate community meetings, awareness sessions, and village/school-level activities.
Project Implementation Support
- Support the implementation of project activities as directed by the Program Officer.
- Assist in organizing workshops, trainings, campaigns, and community events.
- Ensure smooth execution of field-level interventions and activities.
Survey & Data Collection
- Assist in conducting baseline surveys and beneficiary identification exercises.
- Support data collection, verification, and maintenance of field records.
- Maintain accurate beneficiary and activity-related information.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain field-level documentation and records.
- Prepare and submit activity updates and field reports as required.
- Support monitoring and reporting processes by providing timely field information.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Network with key community stakeholders, local institutions, and frontline workers.
- Facilitate coordination between project staff, beneficiaries, schools, and community leaders.
- Support identification and mapping of local resources that can contribute to project sustainability.
Administrative & Logistical Support
- Assist the Program Officer in arranging project activities, meetings, and field visits.
- Support logistical arrangements for trainings, workshops, and community events.
- Ensure timely communication of project-related information to beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Education, Rural Development, Community Development, or a related field.
- Candidates with higher qualifications will be preferred.
Experience
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in community mobilization, social development programs, NGO projects, or field-based initiatives.
- Experience working with schools, children, youth, women, or community development programs will be an added advantage.

- Tamil (for Tamil Nadu positions)
- Telugu (for Andhra Pradesh positions)
Basic knowledge of English will be an advantage.
Preferred Requirements
- Ownership of a two-wheeler and willingness to travel extensively within project areas.
- Familiarity with local communities and socio-cultural dynamics.
- Experience working with government programs, schools, community groups, or NGOs.
Travel Requirement
The role requires frequent field visits and extensive travel within the assigned project area.
