About Us:
Navjyoti India Foundation, founded in 1987 by Dr. Kiran Bedi, India's first woman IPS officer, is an esteemed non-profit committed to empowering marginalized
communities. We aim to uplift lives by fostering self-reliance through initiatives in Child Education, Skill Development, Community Empowerment, Gender Equality, and Environmental Sustainability.
With a track record of impactful work, we’re looking for a passionate Communications Coordinator to help amplify our mission. If you're someone who wants to create meaningful change through powerful storytelling, digital media, and hands-on experiences, this is your opportunity to make a difference.

Responsibilities:
- Social Media Coordination: Work closely with project sites to create
compelling content that shares the stories of our communities. Collaborate on
timely updates, campaigns, and success stories that align with our mission and
communication strategy.
- Content Capturing & Field Visits: Capture high-quality photos, videos, and
visuals at our project sites across Delhi NCR. Help tell the story of our communities through your lens, creating engaging content for social media, donor communications, and our website.
- Website Management: Work with our website vendor to keep our digital presence fresh, engaging, and reflective of our ever-evolving initiatives. Play a key role in ensuring our website is user-friendly and up-to-date.
- Digital Marketing & Campaign Management: Take the lead in identifying digital marketing grants, applying for them, and running strategic campaigns to boost our online visibility. Monitor campaign performance and implement strategies to maximise reach and engagement.
- Monthly Newsletter: Draft and send monthly newsletters to stakeholders, supporters, and donors, creating compelling content that effectively communicates the impact of our programs.
- Content Creation & Video Editing: Create social media posts, proposals, reports and presentations on Canva as per need. Edit short videos and reels as and when required, to support communications needs.

Why Join Us?
- Work Closely with Leadership: As part of our small and dynamic team, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with our directors and other key stakeholders in the organization, gaining mentorship and valuable insight into the nonprofit sector.
- Impactful Work: Play an integral role in creating powerful digital narratives that directly impact vulnerable communities. Your work will drive awareness, advocate for social change, and help us build a stronger connection with our supporters.
- Travel and Experience: Enjoy the opportunity to travel to various events and project sites across Delhi NCR. Engage with changemakers, collaborate with different teams, and expand your network while gaining hands-on experience at the grassroots level.
- Grow and Learn: You'll have the chance to develop your skills in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management, all while contributing to
cause that matters.

What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, development or a similar relevant field
• Proficiency in Canva, and a willingness to learn additional digital software as and when necessary.
• A keen interest in working in the social development sector and a passion for digital communication.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Hindi and English.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Familiarity with digital communication tools and stakeholder engagement.
