Job Title: Accountant Cum Audit Associate

Office/Location: SAKTI SIKHA DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY (SDS)
Baripada, Head Office

Service Condition: Contractual (Long Term)

Period of Service: This is a long-term position with an initial contract of 1 year, extendable annually subject to performance review and organisational needs.

Essential Qualification: MBA Finance or Master’s/bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, or any financial-related subject.

Mandatory Experience: Proficiency in financial analysis and audits.
• Should have a minimum 4-5 years of experience in Audit, finance & compliance in NGO projects, Government-funded projects & CSR projects.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance, audit, and accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, accounting software, MS Office, and financial reporting tools.

Key Responsibility:
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure accuracy and transparency
• Ensure compliance with CSR, government regulations, and internal controls, including audits and statutory requirements
• Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures for finance and compliance functions
• Maintain proper financial documentation for audits and compliance checks
• Coordinate internal audits, statutory audits
• Prepare financial reports for donors, CSR, government agencies, and management
• Support program teams with budgeting, fund utilisation planning, and expenditure monitoring
• Ensure compliance with donor financial guidelines and timely report submission
• Compliance with TDS, GST, EFP, ESI, and all other statutory knowledge

Nature of Work: Office 80%, Field 20%
Monthly Compensation: Rs. 22,000/ to 25,000/-, based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and organisational norms.
