About Matri Sudha

Matri Sudha is a Delhi-based non-profit organization working towards improving the health, nutrition, education, protection, and overall well-being of vulnerable communities. The organization implements community-based interventions focusing on maternal and child health, nutrition, anemia prevention, immunization, adolescent health, menstrual health and hygiene, and strengthening linkages with government schemes and services.

Key Responsibilities
A. Community Health & Nutrition Interventions
Conduct household visits in project intervention areas and support to the Junior Health Workers.
Identify and track pregnant women, lactating mothers, children under six years, adolescents, and vulnerable families.
Facilitate awareness sessions on:
Maternal and Child Health
Nutrition and Low-Cost Nutritious Diets
Anemia Prevention and Management
Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF)
Personal and Community Hygiene
Menstrual Health and Hygiene
Immunization and Growth Monitoring
Support organization of health camps, anemia screening camps, nutrition camps, and referral services.
Coordinate with Anganwadi Workers (AWWs), ASHAs, ANMs, Medical Officers, and other government stakeholders.
Support beneficiaries in accessing government schemes such as PMMVY, JSY, ICDS services, immunization, and health insurance schemes.
Monitor nutritional status of children and facilitate referrals for malnourished cases.
B. MIS Management & Data Reporting
Maintain accurate beneficiary databases and project MIS systems.
Ensure timely collection, entry, validation, and updating of project data.
Prepare dashboards, analytical summaries, and progress reports for management and donors.
Conduct data quality checks and verification exercises.
Maintain digital and physical documentation of project records.
Support baseline surveys, assessments, monitoring visits, and research studies.
C. Monitoring, Documentation & Coordination
Assist in planning and execution of project activities.
Document success stories, case studies, beneficiary testimonials, and good practices.
Support donor reporting requirements and project reviews.
Facilitate meetings with community groups, frontline workers, and government officials.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior health workers and community volunteers.
Participate in training programs and capacity-building initiatives.

Required Qualifications
Essential
Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Nutrition, Community Health, Development Studies, Statistics, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in community health, nutrition, maternal and child health, or public health programs or relevant background.
Experience in MIS management, data entry, analysis, and reporting.
Preferred
Postgraduate/Graduate qualification in Public Health, Social Work, Nutrition, Development Studies, or social sciences.
Note: Candidates from South-East and South Delhi are preferred.
