This role requires someone with Psychology background as this entails therapeutic interventions.

Direct Services to Shelter Clients
• Provide daily motivational and supportive interaction with clients,.
• Guide and support the residents in visioning their future.
• Career planning based on skills and aspirations, job coaching, preparing the participants for interviews,
• Assist in Day-Outs with shelter residents, group therapy, peer interaction and group sessions, VT sessions, Functional Literacy sessions, DMT sessions, client’s restoration.
• Ensure clients' need fulfillment, provide support in family counseling.
• Facilitate Govt. entitlements and community-based resettlement.
• Facilitate shelter clients in opening of bank accounts.
• Motivate clients to be economically active, conduct skills development training and organize supportive employment for them in the community if they are capable and willing.
• Provide assistance to the Restoration Team for client restoration/ resettlement, pre-post restoration visits as needed.
• Prevent relapse with focus on confidentiality and vulnerability.

Building Care Network & Awareness
• Increase the involvement of caregivers in your assigned field.
• Networking for employment opportunities, provide continued psychological counselling.
• Motivate people from community to attend and provide care and support for at least one homeless person with psychosocial disability.
• Motivate NGOs, CBOs and other related organizations for help and support.
• Participate actively in organizing awareness camps, medical camps in your project area according to the Annual Work Plan of the project.
• Provide assistance in organizing rehabilitation fair, sports, and other awareness generating events as per need.
• Identify potential caregivers, encourage them to engage in regular care giving services, and regularly interact with them to ensure retention.

Advocacy
Provide support in identifying and establishing professional relationship with police officials, Govt. health service providers, local NGOs & CBOs, KMC ward councillors, concern Govt. departments to assist clients gain access to education, care, entitlements and support services.

Documentation, Reporting & Meetings
• Document any notable client interactions with staff, volunteers, research fellows and/or other clients.
• Prepare and maintain clients' report, clients’ register, scale administration report, MIS, submit GID
• Prepare and share awareness camp, medical camp, networking, advocacy meeting reports.
• Submit medicine requisition in timely manner; maintain medicine disbursement report, day sheet, and monthly plan.
• Filling up of LSP sheets every month.
• Ensure proper photo documentation and share with concerned persons.

Qualification Required - Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology
