AROEHAN has expanded its presence across Mokhada, Jawhar, Palghar, and Dahanu blocks of Palghar district and has established credibility in the region through its work in water conservation, health and nutrition, solar-based irrigation, and promotion of second cropping during the rabi season, including vegetable cultivation and floriculture. We are looking for a dynamic and committed Project Officer to join our team and support community development initiatives.
Job Summary:
The Project Officer will be responsible for the overall implementation and management of the project, ensuring smooth coordination of field activities, team supervision, community engagement, and reporting. The candidate should possess strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills along with experience in development sector programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project implementation and management
• Supervise and support the Health PCM team
• Plan, monitor, and report project activities
• Implement Health, Nutrition, WASH, and community development programs
• Conduct field visits, trainings, and awareness campaigns
• Coordinate with government departments and stakeholders
• Strengthen referral networks and community linkages
• Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, MIS, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and guidelines
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the organization
Requirements :
Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Rural Development, Management, or related field
3–5 years of experience in project implementation and community-based programs, leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
Fluency in English and Marathi is essential
