SANCHAR A.R.O.D. is a West Bengal-based non-profit organization working since 1988 to promote the inclusion, rights, and well-being of children and persons with disabilities through Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) and Disability Inclusive Development.

*We Are Hiring*

We are looking for passionate, skilled, and committed professionals for the following positions:

- Speech Therapist
- Occupational Therapist
- Physiotherapist
- Counsellor

Eligibility

For Therapists (Speech, Occupational & Physiotherapy):

- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience (experience working with children with disabilities preferred).
- Relevant professional qualification in the respective discipline.
- RCI registration and/or other relevant professional certifications are mandatory
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary and community-based settings.

For Counsellor:

- Master's Degree in Psychology (Clinical/Counselling/Applied Psychology) or equivalent professional qualification in counselling/mental health.
- Formal training in counselling, psychotherapy, family therapy or related fields will be preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with children, adolescents, families, and persons with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention/support plans.
- Provide services in individual and group settings.
- Work closely with children with disabilities, adolescents, caregivers, and families.
- Maintain documentation, case records, progress reports and assessments.
- Coordinate with other team members like special educators, social workers, caregivers and other professionals to ensure holistic support.

Location
Based at SANCHAR A.R.O.D.'s Head Office in Joka, Kolkata. Travel within nearby project areas may be required as part of programme activities and community-based work.

Salary:

Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
