Position Summary
IPE Global’s Social and Economic Empowerment practice works towards building girl capital, empowering women and nurturing resilient communities by creating inclusive and sustainable solutions including but not limited to policy development, capacity building, adaptive management, community mobilisation, behavioural change communication, deepening social safety nets, beneficiary feedback analysis, poverty assessment, and evidence-based monitoring.
To strengthen its portfolio of work in the girl capital domain, IPE Global is hiring a Senior Analystto support a project that seeks to increase women’s participation in skill training and economic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
MIS Management & Indicator Tracking
- Maintain and update the programme MIS and indicator tracking dashboard on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Enter verified data accurately with appropriate source references and maintain audit-ready records
- Track reporting timelines and flag missing data, inconsistencies, or evidence gaps before reporting deadlines
- Maintain version-controlled datasets and documentation files
Data Collection & Verification Support
- Support coordination with state teams for data collection and consolidation into approved templates
- Compile secondary data from government systems and programme sources as required
- Verify supporting evidence against defined evidence standards and reporting requirements
- Support field visits, validation exercises, and data quality checks whenever required
Evidence & Documentation Management
- Manage and organise the programme evidence repository and shared documentation systems
- Ensure all reported indicators are supported by appropriate evidence documentation
- Conduct routine evidence audits and identify documentation gaps
- Follow up with relevant teams to obtain missing or incomplete evidence
Reporting & Learning Support
- Compile indicator status tables, data summaries, and evidence reference sheets for reporting
- Prepare draft charts, dashboards, and reporting tables for client and internal reviews
- Maintain regular updates to output indicator status trackers
- Support preparation of learning briefs, annual reviews, and programme data packs for dissemination and decision-making
Coordination with State Leads & Workstream Leads
- Share data collection templates and reporting formats with state leads and workstream leads
- Track submissions against timelines and follow up on pending data or evidence
- Conduct first-level quality checks for completeness, consistency, and evidence compliance
- Maintain submission and query resolution logs
- Serve as the first point of contact for data reporting, evidence requirements, and MIS-related queries
- Conduct regular coordination calls with state leads to review reporting progress
- Escalate unresolved data or evidence issues to the MEL Expert with clear documentation
- Support teams in understanding indicator definitions and evidence standards
As job descriptions cannot be exhaustive, the MEL manager may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key responsibilities, as determined by the senior leadership.

Qualification & Experience
|
Educational Background
University degree in Economics, Statistics, Demography, Development Studies or other relevant disciplines.
Work Experience:
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), research, data management, or programme monitoring within the development sector
- Demonstrated experience in managing programme data systems, including maintaining trackers, dashboards, MIS platforms, and data repositories using Excel or similar tools
- Working knowledge of data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or equivalent platforms
- Experience coordinating data collection, validation, and reporting processes across multiple teams, partners, or geographies
- Strong understanding of data quality assurance, evidence verification, and documentation management processes
- Familiarity with education, skilling, livelihoods, or government social sector programmes in India
Preferred: Good understanding of government data systems and platforms related to education, skilling and employment, including PLFS, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, UDISE+, NCVET, PRABANDH, Samagra Shiksha, and state-level MIS platforms
