About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate – M&E and Documentation, to support the implementation of Health System strengthening and School Health Program, focused on Upgradation of government primary health centres in 12 states of India and providing health education and intervention in BMC schools in Mumbai. This role will be pivotal in ensuring timely, high-quality data analysis, documentation, and reporting. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to present technical content in clear and accessible formats. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities under tight timelines and contributing to evidence-based decision making.
 
What will You Do in this role (Roles and Responsibilities)
  • Implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities in accordance with project objectives and M&E plans.
  • Compile, clean, and validate project data from field teams, healthcare facilities, and partner organizations.
  • Maintain project databases, trackers, and management information systems (MIS) to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports for internal and donor reporting.
  • Monitor project indicators and support tracking of project performance against established targets.
  •  Conduct routine data quality checks and follow up with field teams to address data discrepancies and reporting gaps.
  • Support field monitoring visits, supervision activities, and data verification exercises.
  • Assist in developing data collection tools, information flow, reporting formats, and dashboards.
  • Generate routine data summaries, presentations, and visualizations to support program reviews and decision-making.
  •  Coordinate with program staff and implementation partners to ensure timely submission of reports and project data.
  • Support baseline assessments, surveys, evaluations, and research activities as required.
  • Document project achievements, success stories, case studies, and lessons learned.
  • Conduct training and orientation of field staff on data collection tools and reporting processes.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational data management protocols, confidentiality standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform any other M&E-related tasks assigned by the M&E Manager or Project Manager.
  • Analyse the regular monitoring data generated by the organization to deliver the necessary materials for organizational evidence-based communication material.
  • Ensure timely submission of data requirements and narrative summary for donor reporting.
We are looking for someone who has:
  • Postgraduate degree in Biostatistics, Mathematics, Health Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3 -4 years of professional experience in public health programs, with demonstrated expertise in data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting.

  • Good understanding of databases and digital and paper filing systems.
  • Proficiency in data capturing, excel and office management software such as MS Office, KOBO, Tableau etc.
