Job Description: Accountant (Saket, Delhi)

Organization Profile
Gramshree Foundation Trust, registered under the Trust Act in 2018, has been working in the tribal belts of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh with a vision to empower tribal families—especially women—so they can take control of their livelihoods.
We focus on forming Farmer Producer Groups (FPGs), Producer Organizations (POs), and promoting livelihood interventions such as vegetable cultivation, natural farming, and value chain development involving processing and marketing of produce.
Gramshree operates on a hybrid model:
• Gramshree Foundation Trust (Not-for-Profit) works at the community level
• Gramshree Development Services Pvt. Ltd. (For-Profit) ensures market linkages and marketing of tribal farmers’ produce
Currently, projects are being implemented in 2 districts of Rajasthan and 2 districts of Chhattisgarh.
All expenditure bills from the field are processed at the Delhi Head Office, where accounts for both entities are maintained.
We are looking for an Accountant experienced in handling accounts for both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, including GST, TDS, and audit-related processes.

Designation: Accountant
Location: Saket, Delhi
Period: 1-year appointment, renewable annually based on mutual agreement and performance

Role & Responsibilities
1. Enter day-to-day project expenditure from different states in Tally software.
2. Print vouchers and attach bills monthly; conduct monthly bank reconciliation.
3. Coordinate with the GST firm to ensure timely GST return filing, submitting invoice details before the 9th of every month.
4. Deposit TDS and coordinate with the CA firm for timely TDS return filing.
5. Support field teams in maintaining cash books, cheque books, cheque registers, and other documents.
6. Assist field teams and Producer Company accountants in maintaining accounts at the field level.
7. Maintain all files, agreements, bills, and vouchers for statutory audits and donor agency reviews.
8. Travel, when required, to field offices to support proper bill and document management.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements
1. B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) with 1-2 years of experience in handling accounts of both Not-for-Profit and For-Profit organizations.
2. Strong proficiency in Tally.
3. Ability to work in a team and coordinate with multi-location field teams.

Remuneration
25000 to 30000 per month (Depends on experience)
(Travel for official work will be covered as per organizational norms.)
